It is the invisible scars of emotional abuse that is most difficult to detect…..sometimes the victim may not be aware until he has become an adult….then he realise the many misgivings in his childhood. In mild cases, the parent may be unaware he is hurting his children emotionally. This type of mild emotional blindness of the parent happens frequently in Asian households due to lack of parenting skills and knowledge which no Cinderella Law is able to protect and vindicate the victim.
